THE LATEST, GREATEST NEWS (Fall 2011)

Ronlyn accepted a two book, world rights deal with Atria Books, the publisher of The Mercy of Thin Air. Yet again, she gets to work with her fabulous editor and a great team—an honor and a thrill.

Those who’ve been waiting for the next novel, heed these words: Expect the unexpected. The forthcoming books are a prequel and a sequel, two interconnected novels more than five years in the making, the latter still in progress. (Alas, they are not related to her first novel.)

The working titles are, respectively, The Mapmaker’s War and Lead Us Whole, Beautiful Child. Anticipated publication dates are Spring 2013 and Spring 2014.

Until then, look for her nonfiction pieces on The Nervous Breakdown, an online literary magazine. Oh, and there's a poem in her archives, too.

PRAISE

"Filled with vivid descriptions of . . . marvelous human sensations that people take for granted and that spirits can only wistfully recall, this is a novel that gets under ones skin."

Library Journal (starred review)

"Domingue's vision of the shifting, shadowy world of the dead is convincing and surprisingly affecting . . . and stays just the right side of romantic."

Daily Mail (London)

"Love and death come together in a mysterious union. Wonderful."
